Horace Washington is a sculptor and mural artist who has taught, lectured, and shown his work extensively for many years. He has completed numerous sculpture and mural projects for public facilities in the western United States. Horace was awarded a commission to produce a work of art for The Metro Blue Line’s Vernon Station, Los Angeles. Vernon Station was awarded a national merit award by The Design for Transportation Awards Program, NEA, US Department of Transportation. Horace was a team member who collaborated on the redevelopment of the Seattle Center’s master plan. He is presently an artist team member leader for the Hunters Point Third Street Light Rail Project in San Francisco.
