Gloria Morales is a printmaker and book artist who received her BFA from the Academy of San Carlos, the National School of Fine Arts in Mexico City. She has taught art to adolescents in Mexico City and to adults and children in Campeche in the Yucatan Peninsula. Originally from the state of Oaxaca, she moved to San Francisco in 1988 and became a member of the Graphic Arts Workshop in 1989. She is also a member of the California Society of Printmakers, and has participated in solo and group exhibitions in the United States, Mexico, and Latin America.
