Bety was born in San Martin Jilotepeque, Guatemala. She has an extensive teaching background as a primary and secondary school teacher, as well as Montessori teaching experience. Bety and her family have resided in the United States since 1981. After working in the food services industry for fifteen years, she joined Creativity Explored’s staff as a Habilitation Aide in 2000.
